WCR uses iCrew for their online boat reservation system. Once you have an account you can login and reserve WCR club boats. All members of WCR are eligible for an iCrew account and you will receive instructions via email upon joining the club. Should you need assistance, please contact the Membership Director at firstname.lastname@example.org. Please do not create a new account if you already have one from a previous season.
Step 2: Select the Date, Start time, End time, Shell type, and Shell size. This will generate a list of available shells.
Reservations cannot be made more than 7 days in advance
Duration is limited to 2 hours in duration (from taking it off the rack to strapping it back in the rack, cleaned and disinfected, for the next reservation)
Limited to 3 active reservations per participant
Step 3: Select the shell that you want and press the "Make Reservation" button to reserve
Your shell options will be limited to those shells that you are qualified for. Rec. singles are highlighted in RED, skinny singles are WHITE, and pair/doubles are in BLUE
Boats listed with "!!" in the name have a repair ticket logged against them, but are still available to reserve. If a boat is deemed to be unusable, it will be removed from the list of available boats.
If rowing in a double, pair, or larger shell, please add the names of the other rowers
Step 4: When you are at Forge Pond and are ready to head out, go to the "On-the-Water Log" tab and click the "Check Out" button.
Step 5: When you return to the dock, follow the same steps, but click the "Check In" button.
You can adjust the time as necessary after the fact
If you see something wrong with your shell, say something by clicking on the "Damage report..." button to submit a damage report. Using this button gives the repair crew visibility across the entire fleet, enabling us to address problems quickly.
