Youth Learn to Row

This summer program is for rising 8th-12th graders with little or no rowing experience. Students will learn the basics of the rowing stroke as well as boat anatomy, safety, and boathouse procedures. Depending on numbers, a mix of sculling and sweep rowing will be introduced in a range of boat classes (singles,  doubles, fours, etc.). This program is appropriate for students wanting to experience what rowing is all about, do something new over the summer, or aim to join Westford Academy Crew in the fall. No prior experience is necessary!
